Swat

Not really a game. Bugs wander in, you flatten them with Umluck on the end of a swatter, and nothing can go wrong.

How to Play

• There is no score, no timer, no lives and no way to lose
• Bugs, beetles and gremlins wander in off the edges and never stop coming
• Stay a while and redbacks, centipedes and bees turn up as well
• Tap or click anywhere and the swatter comes down on that spot
• The swat is deliberately generous, so a cluster goes in one go
• A bug or a bee goes first time. A beetle or a redback takes two. A gremlin or a centipede takes three
• Gremlins and bees break away when the swatter gets close. Bees are the hardest thing on the floor to catch
• A redback sits dead still and then bolts, so line it up while it is parked
• A centipede can be caught anywhere along its body, tail included
• Every minute or so a scorpion turns up. Eight hits, counted off above its head, and nothing it can do to you
• The only meter runs the other way: your stress starts full and empties as you work
• Keep a rhythm going and the sound climbs with you
• Splats stay on the floor for the whole session, so you can see what you have done
• Stop whenever you like. It will still be going when you come back

• Move the mouse to carry the swatter, click to bring it down
• On a phone just tap where you want it. One tap aims and swats
• SPACE swats wherever the swatter already is
