Print customised journey plans for your customers

By popular request, you can now print customised journey plans. Pan and zoom on the map to the desired location and print with the stop departure timetable.

You can select up to 3 maps to include in each print out.

• Company logo, journey plan summary and date now displays on journey planner print outs
• You can now integrate the school list directly onto your website with new embed scripts in the "Settings" page
• Time window for transfers increased from 30mins to 60mins
• The journey planner now displays only the selected journey plan
• Duplicate transfers can no longer be incorrectly created

• Map no longer zooms out automatically when hovering over journey plan results
• Sorting by "least walking" on the journey plan now sorts correctly
• Journey plan no longer displays incorrect journey durations when planning to a school destination

Route list and route detail enhancements

Filter for active, expired or future route services in the route list or the schedules list.

Route variants with a single trip only will now display the full trip time and schedule instead of displaying "1 trip"

Route edits now display the person who made the edit and the time the edit was made in the route details page.

Schedules summary view

You can now view all your schedules in a summary view table.

Customer journey planner optimised for a better customer user experience

The journey planner has been optimised to be viewing on desktop and more mobile devices. You can now also pan around the map using 1 finger instead of 2. In addition, we have made performance increased to the page load time.

The new look and feel makes it easier for users to see information that is most important to them. Buttons are easy to identify and animal icons are much larger.

We also now display non-timing point stop departure times in italics so that customers know that this stop departure is an estimated stop departure time.

School list timetables

School list timetables allow you view all route services that drop-off or pick-up from a school. This is useful to send to schools.

The school list timetable is automatically populated when schools are added in the Stop Management module.

The school list is designed to be embedded onto your website so customers can easily view school specific timetables.

In-seat transfers

Set in-seat transfers for scenarios where customers can stay on the same bus to make a transfer to another service.

• Fixed an issue scanning the QR code to link MapAble on mobile devices to the web Busable account.
• GTFS imports will not prevent route information being removed if the GTFS file is empty.
• In the journey planner, the time to next service now displays correctly. If the service is due to depart in more than 2 weeks, it will display the count down with an absolute date. If the service starts within 2 weeks, it will display in days and if less than 3 days, it will display the countdown in hours.
• Fixed undo feature in route details.
• Fixed map styling issues in the customer timetables. The entire route now centers on the screen upon first load.
• Fixed "undefined" values displaying in the transfers screen.
• Fixed an issue where transfer schedule information was displaying as "Weekdays" incorrectly.
• Fixed an issue where adding a stop would throw an error if the text filters were active.

Route builder

You can now easily build new routes using the new route builder. Automatically build route paths to the next transit stop.

Need more control? You can force a route to take a specific path by adding waypoints. No need to do silly stuff like creating "Dummy" stops.

Contact details displayed on journey planner

The journey planner now displays operator contact information to help your customers if no services are returned. You can set your contact detals in the settings page

Avoid transfers filter option

You can filter for services on the journey plan to avoid transfers. Useful when you don't want little kids to get lost by catching the wrong transfer.

Stop Manager: Capture school bell times

You can now capture school bell times for your school stops. Capture the Start and End bell times at any school stop type. In addition, you can capture Bus arriving within and Bus departing within time durations

The Bus arriving within and Bus departing within time durations will return services in the customer journey planner that fall within these time durations.

For example, if a school has a 9:00am school bell start time with a 30min Bus arriving within time duration, then the customer journey planner will return bus services where the arrival time at the school is between 8:30am to 9:00am.

Similarly, if a school has a 3:00pm school bell end time with a 30min Bus departing within time duration, the the customer journey planner will return bus services where the departure time at the school is between 3:00pm and 3:30pm

Route Mapper: Route list trip information

The route list now displays the total number or trips for the given route variant.

Clicking on the trip count will display trip information such as operating schedule and trip start times for each trip of the route variant.

Linked stops on the map

Selecting a stop or school in the Stop Manager displays other stops that have been linked
